LMB completed our loft conversion from start to finish, the entire process was seemless and professional executed. The pricing and payment schedule was clearly laid out and easy to understand. The architect drew up our plans and then the build started. The builders kept great time every day, worked hard and quickly and to a high standard. Communication between us, Lee and the office and the tradesmen was really clear and concise through group messaging. The project was completed on time and we are really pleased with the addition of two new bedrooms and bathroom. We would definitely recommend LMB if you are considering a loft conversion.
Good job done by LMB! We had our lift converted with LMB and found them to be professional, reliable and attentive. The team that Lee sent round to carry out the work were very polite and respectful which made having them in our house whilst the building works were underway a lot easier. The Project manager Laurence and this team were really good and dealt with every query and concern we had. The Brazilian carpenter that LMB used, Dalton, was amazing too! The guy is very talented. We had an L-shape loft conversion and were pleased with the final outcome. The project took longer than expected (around 6 months) but the quality of the final finish is good and was completed within 10% of the original quote. LMB have a tight team of good trades who know each other well and do the majority of their work for the company. This has the advantage that the work is generally to a high standard, but can lead to some bottlenecks if a particular trade is running behind. The office team were always available and helpful, and larger decisions go through the company owner Lee. LMB also have a general building capability and completed some ground floor alterations in parallel to our loft conversion. It was great to be be able to do both the loft conversion and ground alterations at once.
LMB did our loft conversion recently (mid March to mid June). We are happy with the outcome. Family and friends are very impressed with the outcome. The Project Manager, Dave and the 1st fix Carpenters, Jack and Paul were excellent; the other workmen were also very good. It was certainly a pleasure having them working in our house. (Actually missed them when the job was finished.) We would certainly recommend LMB.
LMB completed a dormer loft conversion for us last year. The overall build quality was excellent, all trades used were of a good standard and represented good value for money. It was refreshing to see the work and payment schedule set out in a printed agreement and the costs were clear and kept to which provided peace of mind. There were a few minor issues along the way as to be expected with building work but these were resolved quickly. We have been enjoying the extra space with no problems.
