I have been shooting for over 10 years and I really enjoy every wedding as every one is different. It`s a chance for me to find unique, creative opportunities for beautiful photography and I like to tell the story of your wedding day through natural moments and a reportage style. I always aim to capture your wedding with a discreet approach, focusing (no pun intended) on capturing those important moments and candid shots.
Philip was brilliant from start to finish. We had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid and Philip was very understanding and flexible. He was luckily available on our new date. We had 1 face to face meeting at the venue to go over the initial details. We then had a second meeting via zoom 6 weeks before the wedding. We were able to get down all the details and photos we wanted for the day. Philip gave us suggestions which was a great help. Philip then contacted us via email to summarise everything we went through. The wedding day. Philip turned up and just got on with the photos. It was great as I could just relax and get on with getting ready. He toke control throughout the day with the group photos and family photos. We needed this massively. He honestly was brilliant from the get go. The photos are absolutely beautiful and he captured every moment perfectly. We have just received our USB with all our photos. It came in a lovely wooden box with prints and a note from Philip. I highly recommend.
Phil was our wedding photographer for our original 2020 small wedding and our postponed wedding reception for 2021. From the first meeting he came across very professional and friendly and we could clearly tell how passionate he was about his job. He was very accommodating and supportive to our change of plans due to Covid, in which we ended up having a small ceremony with 15 guests. The photos from this day are incredible, and you can’t even tell that there were only 15 people! He is very skilled and knows exactly how to get the best shots. The photos were exactly what we wanted and couldn’t be more happy with them. He also recently photographed our postponed wedding reception with an assistant photographer, Lucille. Both Phil and Lucille did such an amazing job on the day and were really friendly to our guests. Everything was so smooth and you could hardly notice they were there (in a good way!) We had a ceilidh and Phil got properly stuck in and captured some fantastic action shots ha! But the golden hour photos are the highlight for me - just WOW. The fact that he incorporates this into the day schedule just goes to show how knowledgeable and passionate he is about getting the best shots. These photos are SO beautiful, and we had so much fun doing it! We also had a photo booth which was great fun - I’d definitely recommend. When he finished he came over to check if everything was ok and to make sure we had got everything we wanted before he said goodbye. I can’t recommend Phil highly enough, thank you for capturing so many beautiful memories of the best day of our lives!
We found Philip when looking at tagged photos of our wedding venue on Instagram. Long and behold Philip appeared on there, with some stunning photos of a previous wedding, at our venue. We pretty much knew straight away that Philip held the vision we were seeking for our wedding day. Philip's business is meticulously set up from start to finish. We held a zoom initially and immediately felt at ease. Our engagement shoot was up a very steep and rugged hill and Philip was more than prepared to undertake the photoshoot there! We constantly felt as though Philip was on board, and grasped exactly what we wanted. On the big day itself, Philip arrived and worked the rooms so well. He set up photos, that looking back on them now, we had no idea he was taking. And they are stunning! Especially some of the candid photos which really picked up on the loving atmosphere of the day. We find ourselves looking at our photos every few days. We are so pleased with them. We cannot count on both our hands how many compliments over the photos, and Philip's professionalism, we have had from guests. Booking Philip will be one of the best decisions about your wedding you can make!
We contacted Phil after viewing his website via a Google search. We were so impressed with his portfolio we arrange to meet with him. Upon meeting Phil we knew straight away he was the photographer for us. Phil was professional, friendly and very accomodating and our guests said so too. In the lead up to the day he was on point with the schedule for our requirement which made the day run really smoothly. We couldn't have been happier with the preview photos we have seen so far and so looking to getting the book. We also hired the photo booth as an add on to our package and that was a winner ! Phil is an outstanding photographer, highly recommended .
