We had our little girls 1st birthday here. We had a wonderful day. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. Special thanks to Dario and the team at Crown for all their help in making our day a memorable one!
Very lovely pub. We came early on Friday night and it has lovely interior decor and big outdoor space in back, with tables decently spread out. The prices were moderate, and though slightly slow to get the food the flavour was excellent. Will definitely be returning.
I haven't been to the Crown in a while, the place has been refurbished since I last went. It looks lovely. I had the vegetarian breakfast (photo shows 2 mushrooms only because my friend didn't want theirs). It was tasty apart from the vegetarian sausages, they were hard at the ends and very dry throughout. Definitely one of my least favourite veggie sausages. Toast looked like it walked past the toaster instead of in to it (I love almost cremated toast) but was advised they don't have a toaster. They did their best to make well toasted toast (it was crunchy outside and soft and fluffy in the middle) I will say the toast tasted very good and had the taste of freshly baked bread, even if it didn't have the visual effects of how I like my toast. Would go back for coffee and other meals. Not for vegetarian sausage based meals ????????
Update review. 4 to 5 stars. When back a few times this year had lunch & recently 9 of us had dinner on a Monday night all enjoyed it. It's waiting time has improved. Food was always good there . The food are well presented & delicious. Our favourites were The chicken wings. Nachos Fish & chips Steaks Mix grills And all the desserts were yummy.
